What Future Consequences Could Hail Mary Fiasco Have on Packers, NFL?
The initial but potent sting felt by the Green Bay Packers as they inexplicably fell to 1-2 last night and the uncontrolled, nationwide outrage that subsequently circulated on Twitter was just the beginning.
After all, this was just one game.
Well, one game with enormous implications, one that could possibly be the impetus for the end of the infamous referee lockout.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Due to this one game, more specifically, the blatantly botched call that trumps all botched calls, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and his league office is on the most sizzling pressure cooker of all time.
Quickly come to an agreement with the NFLRA and the public outrage will eventually settle.
If the lockout continues, well, things could get very ugly.
But this isn't just about the NFL, and how the Monday Night Football game has forced its hand in negotiations with the NFLRA.
Who knows how this will affect the Packers for the remainder of the season? How about the NFC playoff picture?
The first tiebreaker to determine wild-card teams is head-to-head record. After that is conference record. Not only did Green Bay drop its second game of the year, it's now about as squarely behind the tie-breaking eight ball as you can be through three weeks.
Their loss to the Seahawks has countless potential postseason ramifications.
What if they miss out on the playoffs by a game? What if they finish with the same record as two or three other NFC clubs, but have a worse conference record due to what happened against Seattle?
What if they make the playoffs, but the Seahawks' loss forces them to go on the road instead of hosting a frigid game on Lambeau Field? What if that results in an early exit?
There are so many scenarios; it's not far-fetched to think we could see one play out.
Maybe the outrage will appear to dissipate in the coming weeks, but it'll really just move to a low simmer.
If any of those scenarios come to fruition, it'll be back, more rampant and intense than it was on Monday evening.
The Packers will be the victims, and the NFL will be to blame.
Again.
