Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Atlanta Falcons vs. San Diego Chargers
When: September 23, 4:05 p.m. ET
Where: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA
Watch: FOX
Preview
This is one of two battles in Week 3 between 2-0 teams, the other being between the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles.
San Diego has not faced impressive competition, but the Chargers have taken care of business by outscoring opponents 60-24. They have allowed the fewest rushing yards in the NFL this season, despite facing Chris Johnson and Darren McFadden, and Philip Rivers is passing like old times.
However, Atlanta matches up perfectly against the Chargers. They do not need to run the ball effectively because the offense is pass-oriented. Also, the Falcons showed the ability to stop a top quarterback last week when they forced Peyton Manning to throw three interceptions.
The Falcons have simply been playing too well for San Diego to be able to stop them.
Houston Texans vs. Denver Broncos
When: September 23, 4:25 p.m. ET
Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High, Denver, CO
Watch: CBS
Preview
Like the Chargers, the Houston Texans have played well against inferior competition. Still, the thorough domination should give the team a chance to win in a tough environment.
The Texans have shown that they are elite in every phase of the game, from the dynamic duo at running back to a stellar defense to solid quarterback play from Matt Schaub.
Denver, on the other hand, should be able to redeem itself from a poor performance against the Falcons. Willis McGahee had one of his best games in recent years with 113 yards and two touchdowns as he gives the team another dimension when Peyton Manning struggles.
If he can have a repeat performance against the Texans, Manning will be able to do the rest to give the team its second victory of the season.
New England Patriots vs. Baltimore Ravens
When: September 23, 8:20 p.m. ET
Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD
Watch: NBC
Preview
The Baltimore Ravens certainly have not forgot that they were a dropped touchdown or a missed field goal away from playing in the Super Bowl. They will get their first chance at redemption this week in this rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game.
Both teams had games to forget last week as the Patriots lost at home to the Arizona Cardinals, while the Philadelphia Eagles topped the Ravens by a point. However, these are the teams that should still be in contention in the AFC when the season ends.
New England's biggest problem will be replacing injured tight end Aaron Hernandez. There are a lot of weapons on the offense, but he was a valuable player that kept everything working. Unless they are able to get more touches to Wes Welker, it could be a long game for the Patriots.
