Nationals Ace Gio Gonzalez Reportedly Dating LFL Quarterback Angela Rypien

The Washington D.C. area may just have a new power couple, as rumors abound that Nationals ace Gio Gonzalez is getting quite comfy with Angela Rypien. 

Larry Brown Sports did some sleuthing and uncovered what may be a budding romance between two athletes. 

As with most things nowadays, it all comes down to spotting the interesting tidbits on Twitter. That's where the sports site saw this gem from Lingerie Football League quarterback and daughter of Mark Rypien, Angela Rypien.

Not much to get excited for, until they spotted this tweet as well.

Well now we have our curiosity good and stoked. So it's a good thing Larry Brown Sports decided to pose the obvious question.

Hardly the air-tight case, but LBS goes on to report Rypien is only following one Nationals player on Twitter, and that's Gonzalez. 

I am willing to place a great deal of confidence that these two are more than friends, making this a banner year for the Nationals southpaw. 

Even as Stephen Strasburg gets shelved, the Nationals continue to battle for the division, and it has a lot to do with their ace who is destined to win 20 this year. 

And now this. 

It's very good to be Gio Gonzalez right about now.
