Start 'Em Sit 'Em Week 2: QBs Who Will Make or Break Your Team
Picking a starting quarterback every week can be a tough task for fantasy owners who don't have a guy named Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees or Tom Brady. Unlike other positions where you can start multiple players, most league formats only allow one starter at quarterback, which makes the lone spot in the lineup extremely important.
If you're stuck trying to set your last-minute lineup and can't decide on what quarterback to start, be sure to read on, as we take a look at which quarterbacks are primed for good games that should be in your starting lineup and which quarterbacks are secretly plotting to ruin your fantasy matchup this week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Start 'Em
Matt Ryan
Week 1 can be deceiving. Since it's all we have to work with this season, fantasy players can be tempted to automatically put someone in their lineup after one good week when that performance could very well be an aberration.
One option that does not fit into the "aberration" category is Matt Ryan.
Ryan carved up the Chiefs secondary to the tune of 31 points on the road in Week 1 and should continue to put up big points throughout the season. With Michael Turner struggling to put up big numbers last week, it appears that the Falcons intend to go to the air early and often this season and Ryan should be the beneficiary.
Julio Jones was explosive in the game and should add even more value to Ryan this season. With Roddy White, Jones and Tony Gonzalez Ryan has plenty of weapons at his disposal to score every week. Don't expect 31 points necessarily, but Ryan's first week was no fluke.
Tony Romo
Those who started Romo last week had to be happy with what they saw.
Romo lit up the Giants for 23 points in New York and found a new reliable target in Kevin Ogletree that adds yet another weapon to a budding arsenal that Romo is finding in Dallas. Romo owners should look for the good times to continue as Dallas travels to Seattle this week.
Seattle's defense isn't horrible by any means necessary, but their pass rush isn't anywhere near as scary as the Giants was last week when Romo thrived. The Seahawks also allowed Kevin Kolb plenty of success late in the game when he led the Cardinals to victory off the bench on 6-of-8 passing for 68 yards and a touchdown.
If Kolb, who lost the starting quarterback position to John Skelton, was that efficient against this Seattle defense, it's hard to envision Romo having a difficult time. Start Romo and enjoy another top-10 performance.
Sit 'Em
Mark Sanchez
Yes, Sanchez put up 20 points last week in the season opener and looked great doing it.
However, that doesn't mean you should be inking Sanchez into your lineup every week quite yet. Throughout Sanchez's career, consistency has been his curse.
For instance, Sanchez opened the 2011 season with a 300-plus yard performance against the Cowboys that had fantasy owners convinced he could be a starting option the next week. HGe followed it up by throwing for 182 yards and two interceptions the following week.
Sanchez again threw for over 300 yards the next week, putting up huge numbers for fantasy owners before following it up with an 11-for-35 119 yard performance.
Moral of the story? Let Sanchez prove his consistency before trotting him out in your lineup.
Ben Roethlisberger
Heading into the season, it looked like Roethlisberger may be worth more than ever in terms of fantasy football.
Offensive coordinator Todd Haley loves to throw the ball around, Antonio Brown and Mike Wallace are forming into quite the dynamic duo and the Steelers have a less potent ground game every season. Turns out, the Steelers offense may struggle more than we're used to seeing this season.
Against Denver, Roethlisberger had very little time to throw and just barely completed over half of his passes. Pittsburgh got next to nothing out of the run game, and Denver was able to aggressively get after the quarterback without giving up big plays.
The Pittsburgh offense may rebound this season, but that's not likely to happen against the Jets.
Rex Ryan loves to blitz, and it's a very real possibility that Big Ben spends much more of this game running for his life than racking up fantasy points. Avoid Roethlisberger this week.
