NFL Lines Week 2: Top Over-Under and Against the Spread Bets to Make
Week 2 of the NFL season is set to begin on Thursday with a night matchup between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, but bettors would be wise to avoid that one.
There is much more value to be found during the Sunday slate of games, with numerous point spreads and over-unders that look like a lock to cover.
Let’s take a look at three of the best plays you could make in the second week of the season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈

Arizona Cardinals at New England Patriots (-14)
The last time the Cardinals brought their “talents” to New England, they suffered a 47-7 defeat.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Sunday’s results being much of the same.
The Pats offense is simply too overwhelming for a mediocre defense—exactly the kind Arizona possesses—to stop.
Plus, Kevin Kolb will be under center. He has an awful track record both straight up and against the spread when he’s the starting quarterback.
While two touchdowns is a lot of points to give, the Patriots could easily win this by 21 points or more.
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers (Over 51)
This game is going to be a shootout.
Both NFC South teams suffered from tough defeats to underrated teams in Week 1 and they will be looking for vengeance in this contest.
Cam Newton and Drew Brees are both capable of throwing for over 400 yards on Sunday. Their respective running games should also see a significant boost from their dreadful performances that they opened the season with.
Expect nothing less than a back-and-forth affair that goes well over 51 points.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants (-7.5)
Vegas still has no respect for the Bucs.
This squad is going to be legit in 2012, as they have a new coach, an incredible defensive front, a solid running game and a decent signal-caller.
With all of those factors in play, there is no way that they lose to the G-Men by more than a touchdown on Sunday.
Remember, New York beats teams by rushing the quarterback and forcing mistakes in the passing game; Josh Freeman only threw for 16 yards in the entire second half last week.
Tampa Bay is going to grind this one out on the ground and keep it close.
