The Brewers took the loss today against the Padres. Corey Hart stayed red hot going 3-for-3, including a two-run homer. Jeff Suppan struggled in the first inning, giving up three earned runs.

Both Braden Looper (ribcage) and Tony Gwynn Jr. (right shoulder) had exams today. Results aren’t out yet. Gord Ash should be giving details Tuesday.

The Brewers are taking a look at Brad Nelson in the outfield this spring. I like this. Nelson is out of options, and I think he still has the potential to break out. Good luck, sir. No matter what happens, just know that Tyler loves you.

Pitching prospect Cody Scarpetta saw his first “Major League” action in today’s B Game. Scarpetta is on the Brewers 40-man roster because of a rules technicality.

Staying with today’s B game, Chris Narveson looked great today. He threw three no-hit innings.
