Manchester United: There Is No Reason to Rush Wayne Rooney's Return
When Wayne Rooney went down against Fulham, Manchester United fans everywhere took a deep breath. In their eyes, the offensive firepower that the Red Devils had upset had just went off on a stretcher.
But then there was Robin van Persie. After a hat trick against Southampton, Rooney’s injury took the back burner to the rise of another legend in a red uniform.
As Premier League play continues, Manchester United fans could not be more excited about the current state of the offense. The defense may be another case entirely, but with the emergence of van Persie, the Red Devils are scoring goals in flurries.

Then, another thought dawned on United fans.
When Rooney returns from his injury, a goal-scoring tandem with van Persie could be an incredible weapon that the rest of the Premier League may not be ready for.
Like most United fans, the thought of Rooney and van Persie starting up front with Shinji Kagawa leading the way behind them is hard to even fathom.
But there is no imperative order to rush Wayne Rooney’s return from injury.
While United fans desperately await the days when the duo starts up top for the Red Devils, there needs to be patience in Manchester.
If the defense can improve from its current state and van Persie stays in his current form, Manchester United has a legitimate shot at a Premier League title. Throw Rooney in the mix, and this squad could really take back the title from Manchester City.
That being said, there is no reason to rush Wayne Rooney’s return. Rehabilitate his injury now so that the Red Devils can have him when it matters.
Silverware is coming for Manchester United. Fans just need to be patient.
