Rams vs. Cowboys: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
Preseason games are always meaningless, but generally, the third preseason game is when teams let the starters stay in a bit longer and work out the kinks in preparation for the regular season.
For that reason alone, the tilt between the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Rams will be intriguing.
For the Cowboys, questions about depth at receiver and tight end will be answered, as the team is battling through injuries this summer. For the Rams, it's another chance to see Sam Bradford and the team's many young players take the next step in their development.

What's at Stake
Roster spots, the opinions of fantasy-football players and a chance to see exciting rookies Morris Claiborne (Cowboys), Michael Brockers and Janoris Jenkins (Rams). It's also another chance to analyze Sam Bradford and make jokes about Tony Romo.
Fantasy Prospects to Watch: DeMarco Murray
In his seven starts last year, Murray took the fantasy world by storm. His 253-yard rushing performance in a Week 6 game against the Rams came out of nowhere. Still, there are questions surrounding the young back.
Can he stay healthy? Can he steadily produce? Will Felix Jones steal a lot of touches from Murray?
Murray won't answer all of those questions on Saturday night, but another look at him in the preseason should either convince owners he's worth the risk or cause them to look in a different direction at running back.
What They're Saying
Gregg Rosenthal at NFL.com notes that the Cowboys have been one of the unluckiest teams in the league this summer:
"Last year's biggest problem--the interior offensive line--remains ravaged by injuries and uncertainty. Wide receiver remains a thin position with the starters still injury-prone. Miles Austin won't play in the preseason and Dez Bryant will likely miss half of it. With the No. 3 receiver spot up for grabs, tight end Jason Witten's role is more important than ever. He's questionable for Week 1 with a lacerated spleen.
"
Cowboys Player to Watch: The Offensive Line
The key to the Cowboys season is keeping Tony Romo healthy, and the key to keeping Romo healthy is an improved performance in 2012 by the offensive line.
Sure, they're battered and bruised already this year. Even so, keeping Romo upright in the pocket will be the key for the Cowboys offense, even in this meaningless preseason game. If some of the backups can accomplish that, at least Dallas fans can feel some confidence in the depth on the line.
Hey, it's something.
Rams Player to Watch: Sam Bradford
This is a huge season for Bradford. While nobody could blame him for struggling during his first two seasons on a poor Rams team, there are no excuses in year three. His 24:21 touchdown-to-interception ratio needs to improve in a hurry.
It's put-up or shut-up time for Bradford.
With Jeff Fisher in town and an emphasis on the running game reestablished, Bradford should be in a better position to succeed. Efficiency and limiting turnovers should be the name of the game for the young quarterback this season.
Prediction
The Cowboys will score more than three points, but this game will still be really boring. Bradford will be sharp, the offensive line of the Cowboys won't. Somebody will win, somebody will lose. Let's give this one to the Rams, 14-13.
