The Heartbreak Kid: Can He Do It This Wrestlemania?

Many people say that Shawn Michaels is one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time. He is truly a man in the business who has done it all. He is a four-time World Champion. He is a two-time Royal Rumble winner. He was the first ever Grand Slam Champion in the history of the WWF/E. He was also in the first ladder match, Hell in a Cell Match, Ironman Match, and Elimination Chamber match in the WWF/E (winning all four of them).

When it comes to Shawn Michaels, as Raw is Jericho, Wrestlemania is HBK. According to Pro Wrestling Illustrated, on seven different occasions Shawn Michaels has won their award for Match of the Year at Wrestlemania (he has won the award on nine different occasions). His match against Razor Ramon at Wrestlemania X has set up a greater match that happens at every Wrestlemania, that being Money in the Bank.

With that being said, the man that needs no further introduction is about to meet his biggest threat at Wrestlemania. That being the man who hasn't lost at Wrestlemania: The Undertaker.

The Undertaker is a six-time WWF/E World Champion and also has won a Royal Rumble Match. The Undertaker has had one Match of the Year award given to him, that being in 1998 for his Hell in a Cell Match with Mankind. But if it wasn't for another man already mentioned, maybe the Hell in a Cell Match wouldn't have been popular enough for such a match.

Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker have faced off before. They faced off in the first ever Hell in a Cell match on October 5th, 1997.

Ten years later they would stand face to face at the end of the 2007 Royal Rumble for their chance to main event Wrestlemania. Both men fought and contested in arguably one of the greatest final confrontations at the end of a Royal Rumble ever. The Undertaker got the upper hand and won his first Royal Rumble that year.

Both of these guys achievements rub off on each other, but this one is for all the marbles. This is the year where we figure out which of these superstars is truly the WWE's highlight.

Is it possible that Shawn Michaels can beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania? A part of me wants to say no, but another part of me wants to say yes!

If Shawn Michaels does beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, it will go down as one of the greatest upsets in the history of wrestling. With that, Shawn Michaels will go down as one of the greatest wrestlers to ever live. Even though he is already one of the greatest, it is an accomplishment that is unlike no other.

Yes, he made Ric Flair retire. But to end the Undertaker's streak is almost like ending The Undertaker's career as well!

Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker is definitely the match that will steal the show on April 4th, that's almost a guarantee. But the question that will be on everybody's mind the next 37 days is can Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid, the Showstopper, The Main Event, Mr. Wrestlemania, beat The Undertaker on the Grandest Stage of them all: Wrestlemania 25!
