Mario Balotelli Enjoys Thrill Ride While on Holiday in Ibiza (Video)

New day, same old Mario.

On Monday, we here at Set Piece pointed you to a video that featured Mario Balotelli's goofy side as it relates to camera equipment.

On Wednesday, we here at Set Piece are pointing you to a video that features, well, Mario Balotelli's goofy side. And this time, the setting is an amusement park.

The clip, which is the Set Piece viral video of the day, appears above. It's purported to show the Manchester City and Italian international striker enjoying himself on an amusement-park ride during his summer holiday in Ibiza.

See for yourself. That's Mario on the right. We implore you, could a world-famous 22-year-old footballer enjoy himself any more than Balotelli does on a regular basis?

The Sun had the "story" first. How, exactly, they found this footage is beyond us.

Normally, this would not be even the slightest bit newsy. But considering Balotelli's resume, at least one reporter is ready to turn in breathless coverage if he so much as sneezes.

Throw in a dash of trademark Sun sensationalism, and you've got yourself a bona-fide report. To wit:

"He enjoyed the ride so much he had THREE goes costing a total of £120. Concerned Mario even feared a gear on the ride could fail which would lead to almost certain death."

Yes, that must be it, guys. Balotelli really must have been afraid of "almost certain death." There's no chance at all that he could have been joking around, or, you know, exaggerating for effect.

Anyway, now it's back to the thrill ride of Balotelli's day-to-day life as a footballer. We're only slightly less excited.
