WWE SummerSlam 2012: 3 Things That Must Happen on Sunday Night

The creative team for WWE SummerSlam 2012 did a good job of setting up some interesting matchups, but there are a few things they should include to spice things up.

One of the hallmarks of pro wrestling these days is that we should always expect the unexpected. I expect that trend to continue on Sunday night at the Staples Center. 

Here are three things that the WWE should do to make SummerSlam 2012 a night to remember.

Charlie Sheen Must Get Punched in the Face

Sheen recently called Daniel Bryan an "oompa-loompa" on national television, and you can be sure he's going to show up during Bryan's matchup with Kane (h/t WWE.com). 

This fight is basically a massive publicity stunt. The marriage between Bryan and AJ Lee was a sham, the whole thing between the two of them has been a big show and there is no real value to Bryan and Kane fighting on Sunday.

Sheen is a part of it and people want to see his crazy act. 

My preference is that instead of Sheen causing Bryan to lose the match, which is the logical thing that would happen, he gets blasted by Bryan with a punch to the face. Then, Bryan can work on putting Kane out of his misery.

The Miz Must Defeat Rey Mysterio

I'll be really upset if Mysterio ends up winning this fight. 

Mysterio is just coming back from a 60-day suspension for testing positive for amphetamines back in February (h/t F4WOnline.com). He didn't start serving that suspension until the end of April, and he's just now coming back.

The Miz must win the fight, no matter what it takes to make it happen. Mysterio must not be allowed to claim the Intercontinental Championship belt. 

Brock Lesnar Must Defeat Triple H

If Lesnar loses, he's finished. It's as simple as that. 

He's been hyped up to no extent by the WWE, but his 0-2 record indicates that he isn't worth the hype. But if Lesnar utterly destroys one of the true legends of the sport, he'll be back on the path of WWE stardom.

There's always the chance that Shawn Michaels shows up unexpectedly and assists his friend, but I'll be shocked if that's what ends up going down. 

The WWE has tried to market Lesnar as an uncontrollable monster, and Lesnar must unleash all of his fury and strength upon Triple H if he has any chance to stay alive in the WWE.
