Top 10 Over-Used or Over-Hyped WWE Superstars

WWE needs fresh talent. Their product is becoming stale because of the overuse of the same superstars or because of bad storylines. Here is my top 10 over hyped WWE superstars.

1. Edge

The only reason I think he is over-hyped is the fact the WWE doesn't have a lot of quality heel wrestlers. He has some talent, but the "ultimate opportunist" thing has to go. Edge winning a title by taking advantage of someone else's misfortune is getting ridiculous.

2. JBL

Why is he still wrestling? The "wrestling god" is a horrible performer. The only time I ever liked Bradshaw was when he was chugging beer and playing cards with Ron Simmons. He is also being used only because they need heels. That is my only explanation.

3. John Cena

I do like John Cena, but his character is getting stale because the WWE has nobody else to carry their shows. Cena is really good on the mic, but he seriously needs to add a few moves to his arsenal.

4. HBK

HBK is probably my favorite wrestler of all time. However, the story lines are not believable anymore. He is a fantastic performer, but his time is about up. Like Cena, he uses the same moves he has always used. It was interesting when he had to use another finishing move besides "sweet chin music" when he faced Randy Orton a couple of years back.

5. Randy Orton

He has overtaken Edge as the most aggravating heel in the business. The storyline of him having a mental condition is downright ridiculous. Randy Orton's "Legacy" will never be on the level of "the Four Horseman" or "Evolution." He is a young superstar, but he is already becoming stale. It's sad!

6. The Undertaker

The man is a legend. It's just time for him to end his hall of fame career. He is in his mid-40's now. He is not in good shape. He has been talking retirement for a couple of years now. Hopefully it happens soon.

7. Mark Henry

He probably needs to be higher on the list. Henry is a terrible performer. All he has going for him is his strength and girth. Now that he has held at least one major title, it's time to faze him out.

8. Santino Marella

Marella is a very funny man. However, I just wish WWE would allow him to be more successful in ring. His 2 I-C title reigns were a joke. He is only over-hyped because of what he does outside of the ring.

9. Chris Jericho

I was glad when Jericho came back a year and a half ago. However, I realized Jericho wasn't even close to same guy he was. He is still getting a lot of hype despite diminishing talent. He was gone way too long.

10. Finlay

I have no problem with Finlay. The WWE keeps hyping him up for title matches only to have him lose every time. If they are going to hype him up, have him win something. If they aren't going to ever give him a major title, faze him out. You can have Hornswoggle too!
