Why Being a Wrestling Cruiserweight or Lightweight Is Not Bad at All

Tonight I was just sitting at home and thinking about when Kurt Angle held multiple titles in the WWE, and he did so in TNA. So I was wondering, has anybody else done a big achievement like this? Then I was thinking of Rey Mysterio and how he should be pushed again. So I was thinking, hey, wasn't Rey the only one to ever hold all the SmackDown titles—not at once, but to win all of them at one point?

So I checked on the information, and I was wrong, but that ended up leading me to finding out that being a small wrestler is not so bad.

What I did was look up all the Cruiserweight titleholders and Lightweight titleholders who held a major title like the WWE title, World Heavyweight title/WCW Heavyweight title, ECW title, the TNA title, and some other titles, and here is what I ended up with.

WWE TITLE

Jeff Hardy: One title reign

Chris Jericho: One title reign

Eddie Guerrero: One title reign

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT/WCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

Chris Benoit: One World Heavyweight title reign and one WCW Heavyweight title reign

Chris Jericho: Two World Heavyweight title reigns and two WCW heavyweight title reigns; that was when WWE purchased WCW but was still called the WCW heavyweight title.

Rey Mysterio: One World Heavyweight title reign

ECW TITLE

Matt Hardy: Two title reigns

TNA WORLD TITLE

Christian: Three title reigns

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE

Chris Benoit: 4

Chris Jericho: 8

Eddie Guerrero: 2

Christian: 3

Jeff Hardy: 3

US TITLE

Matt Hardy: 1

Chris Benoit: 5

Eddie Guerrero: 2

Chris Benoit: It shows he was defeated for it but never shows him as actual champion, so the title must've been vacated, but I just decided to leave Benoit on the list.

So there you have it. Basically what I am getting at is they should bring the title back but to ECW. Also give the title more respect, and don't ever—and I mean ever—let Hornswoggle touch the title again or any other title. To me that was a spit in the face of all the wrestlers who wore that belt, as when Hornswoggle had it the title was just a game basically.

But I think Tyson Kidd would be great to reintroduce the title by winning it in an all brand gauntlet invite and Kidd winning the title. I can see Kidd and Brian Kendrick putting on great matches.
