Baltimore Orioles Settle Fantasy Football Draft Order by Racing Crabs
The Baltimore Orioles are one big group of geniuses.
The D.C. Sports Bog (h/t Sportress of Blogitude) caught some fantastic tweets that settled once and for all the debate of the best method of picking a fantasy football draft order.
The report states that several Orioles players combined to settle their fantasy draft lineup by having a faceoff between some speedy crustaceans.

The crabs were provided by Cravin' Crabs, and there is no word as to whether or not the winner was saved from what I have to assume was a grand boil after the festivities.
Play-by-play of the event was given by pitcher Darren O'Day, who provided the necessary tweets to give this tale some color:
"@chrisdavis_19 picked the Adrian Peterson of crabs to win first pick. This dude was stiff arming and juking everyone. twitter.com/DODay56/status…
— Darren O'Day (@DODay56) August 15, 2012"
Winner, winner, tasty crab dinner goes to slugger Chris Davis, whose crawling dynamo won him the top slot ahead of the rest of his teammates.
O'Day then showed a pic of all the mighty warriors with this tweet:
"Thanks to Cravin' Crabs for providing the athletes for the Orioles fantasy football draft order crab race. twitter.com/DODay56/status…
— Darren O'Day (@DODay56) August 15, 2012"
The rest of us mortals are left to draw stupid numbers from a hat or play some marathon sessions of Mario Kart.
There is a reason the Orioles are having such an unbelievable season, and it seems that it's their ability to think outside the box.
