WWE SummerSlam 2012 Matches: Shawn Michaels' Presence Must Be Felt at Main Event

Shawn Michaels got his arm broken by Brock Lesnar, and word is he won't appear at SummerSlam. That's all the more reason why he must appear at SummerSlam.

Michaels tweeted this:

WWE.com then published this article stating Michaels would not appear at SummerSlam. Here is Lesnar's attack on Michaels:

HBK's presence at a WWE pay-per-view is only rivaled by the likes of The Rock, Steve Austin and Undertaker. Even as a Special Referee, he adds tons of appeal to a main event. I don't just think Michaels should appear, and maybe sit alongside Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler.

I have even bigger hopes for Michaels at SummerSlam.

I want him to fulfill his duties as the Special Referee, but I'd also love to see him turn on Triple H. Some Sweet Chin music on the chin of the Game would make this pay-per-view epic. The seed for this was already planted by the Undertaker.

He played to the friendly rivalry between Triple H and Michaels by indicating Michaels was better than the Cerebral Assassin. On Monday Night Raw, Triple H was late arriving to the arena, and that lead to Michaels nervously walking around backstage, peeping around corners for Brock Lesnar.

Triple H finally showed up, but Lesnar still ambushed Michaels and subsequently broke his arm with the kimura.

This is a perfect way for Michaels to find issue with Triple H. I can just picture HBK delivering his finisher to Triple H while his arm is in a sling.

Talk about a classic ending. It would start all types of speculation about Michaels' returning to the ring. He seemed to respond physically after Lesnar planted the F5 on him during the attack.

Is Michaels really done in the ring?

I can't think of a better cliffhanger to set up Monday Night Raw on August 20. But at this point, I can only hope my wish comes true.
