WWE News: Huge Backstage News on Wade Barrett Return Plans
The return vignettes are beginning to air, he's fully healed, and fans rejoice because Wade Barrett is returning to WWE TV.
News has broken though on backstage plans for Barrett. For those who are opposed to spoilers—look away now.
F4WOnline is currently reporting that officials are planning for the former British bareknuckle boxer to return to action after SummerSlam (h/t Wrestlinginc.com).

There is still a chance—a very big chance—that Barrett may make an appearance at the upcoming pay-per-view; my best guess would be to interfere in Sheamus and Alberto del Rio's World Heavyweight Championship match.
The story also claimed that Barrett was due to receive a big push at Money in the Bank, but this was delayed for undisclosed reasons.
"Barrett's return to the ring was delayed several times. Originally, WWE officials wanted to bring him back at Money in the Bank, have him win a World Heavyweight Title shot and then either begin to chase for the title or actually capture it at SummerSlam," the report reveals.
But, in perhaps the most significant news, it looks like Barrett will challenge for gold almost immediately after coming back.
"With that said being, Barrett is in line for a run with one of WWE's major singles titles."
He had previously suffered a partial elbow dislocation in a spot gone wrong on the February 20 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Almost six months on, and the Barrett Barrage is set to continue!
