WWE: Diva Reportedly Arrested for Public Intoxication at San Antonio Airport

Several fan reports have surfaced online, specifically on Twitter, suggesting WWE Diva Rosa Mendes has been arrested at the San Antonio airport.

San Antonio is the site of tonight's Monday Night Raw and reports claim that the Mendes was arrested upon arrival for intoxication.

There has been no confirmation from her or WWE.

However, WWE announcer Scott Stanford did tweet the following earlier today:

This is another incident in a what's been a seven-day stretch full of headlines for WWE.

Last Monday, manager A.W. made comments regarding Kobe Bryant that caught the mainstream media's attention. Also, on the same day, a fire broke out on the Raw set in the arena, which grabbed attention.

The next day after A.W.'s comments, WWE Superstar Tensai caused waves via a video on Tout. Tensai filmed himself driving with his on-screen manager Sakamoto and made an offensive comment about Asian people.

This incident not only finds itself in poor timing for WWE headlines, but also during what's been the most prosperous part of Mendes' WWE career.

She has been the manager for Primo and Epico, who have held tag team title gold and received their most television exposure over the last calendar year.

Mendes and her team had been featured much of this summer feuding with, ironically, A.W.'s team of the Prime Time Players, featuring Titus O'Neil and Darren Young.

It should be interesting to see how WWE reacts to this incident.

While at the point, no punishment has been made official for Tensai or A.W's comments—it's a valid fact to point out that Vince McMahon's wife Linda McMahon is currently in pursuit of a Senate seat in Connecticut.

WWE appearing again in mainstream media for headlines, other than charity or business reports, can't be looked at as a positive to McMahon's political campaign.
