TNA Releases Another X-Division Star!
Last week we saw a big X-Division star and former X-Division Champion Petey Williams released from the company in Beer Money Inc.'s off the Wagon challenged where whoever was pinned would be out of TNA.
No one really knows why TNA released him, I figured it was storyline. But he actually was released from the company. And just when you thought it was going to be over, they release another star.
X Division wrestler Sonjay Dutt, who is only 26 was released recently after having trouble reaching terms with TNA on a new contract. His old one was set to expire soon, and apparently he just thought he deserved more than what they were giving him.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
He was a real standout in the X-Division for years, most recently in 2008 in his feud with Jay Lethal. The feud was about two friends fighting over a girl, who was SoCal Val.
Lethal was set to marry Val, and then Dutt kept interfering with everything. This included the wedding itself. Then he betrayed Lethal, soon it came down to a match for Val.
Then Val betrayed Lethal and has been with Dutt since. No word however on what they will do with Val now. She really has not wrestled once in TNA. I can't remember even one match she was in.
She has always been a valet as far as I can remember. Dutt was a great wrestler, and has a future in the wrestling business most likely with WWE. Former TNA wrestler Low Ki recently signed a developmental deal with WWE.
And many people relate the two and they are good friends, so he may have him to help him get in to the WWE and even get a deal of some sort. Who knows?
Many wondered why Jarrett couldn't just pay the guy, word is that he was a huge draw with the India shows they do. TNA is considered a No. 1 show there because of Dutt alone.
Of course The Great Khali helps the WWE, but if Dutt signs with WWE, then they could win that battle against TNA easily.
Heck you could have Dutt tag or do something with Khali in some sort of gimmick. Only time will tell, but he is a great wrestler and the WWE likes that I'm sure.
TNA has the money to keep him, heck they gave Robert Roode a fat new contract recently. So you know they could have kept him. It kind of angers me to see them let go of great young guys, when they have some older guys like Steiner and Nash who need to go.
But that is my opinion, what is yours?
