Just Say No: Hulk Hogan Not In Wrestlemania 25!!
For a while now, at least for the past few months. Hulk Hogan has been rumored to be at Wrestlemania 25. Of course he was in the first one, and has been in some very memorable matches there.
He helped make Wrestlemania what it is today, so naturally you would expect to see him in the event right? Well so did Vince McMahon, which is why they talked it over a few times to see what they could do.
Hogan has been asking for various matches, like one against 2009 Hall of Fame inductee Stone Cold Steve Austin. He asked for Austin to help make a memorable match for them both.

But Austin said he wouldn't do it, and was not really thinking about getting in the ring with Hogan. Then rumors came out that his opponent would be former World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.
Especially once No Way Out was over, those came swirling out. Which I didn't understand because it was easy to see that the new champion Edge would take on Cena for the Title at Wrestlemania.
But it really was the last chance for Hogan though. He is not going to be in a match as many thought. And it was mainly because of the simple fact of no one being able to do it with him.
All the young up and comers will be in the Money in the Bank match and all the big time superstars are already booked. Plus no one really wanted to see a Cena vs Hogan match to begin with.
We already saw Hogan's match against The Rock a while back. Why would we want to see another best of one generation against the best of the present generation.
In fact Hogan was beaten to sort of pass the torch. If anyone was going to face Cena in a generational passing it would have to be The Rock. Which is highly unlikely to happen.
Hogan said Vince's anger over the "Celebrity Championship Wrestling" show has blown over and they can speak to each other in a civil manner.
And in regards to rumors that Hogan is skipping WrestleMania over a money dispute, Hogan said that wasn't true and wasn't going to keep the money for himself stating he would give every dime to John Graziano "since nobody is helping that kid."
Hogan is always full of jokes, but I'm sure he will be there. Maybe he could be backstage and do a guest spot with one of the wrestlers or something. I don't know have Dolph Ziggler and him go off on introducing themselves.
"Hi I'm Hulk Hogan"
"Hi I'm Dolph Ziggler"
Have that happen and then Wrestlemania gold is born. Well maybe not, but it would be funny. A lot of former and current wrestlers will be on hand at Wrestlemania. We see former WWE superstars there all the time.
So it wouldn't be a shock. Now this may sound crazy, and far fetched. But I saw in a news article that Macho Man Randy Savage would be in the 2009 Hall of Fame class. I think it is impossible, and just a big rumor myself.
But he does deserve it in my mind. I know he and McMahon have a bad history with one another. And most of us know more details than others, which I will not go fully into.
But the former World Champion does deserve to be in there, I mean he will be there one, two nights at best. McMahon get over your differences and let Savage in. I mean you don't have to be best friends.
I know it is a rumor, but you have to think it may happen. It is the 25th anniversary afterall. However McMahon did remove him from the Legends of Wrestlemania video game.
So that may confirm it is just a rumor and nothing more. But you never know, the WWE is always full of surprises. At least they try to be.
But back to Hogan, I can't tell you what his role will be. But what I can tell you for certain is that he will not be in a match. I hope he is there at least, because that means Brook Hogan will be.
And like DDP says "Thats not a bad thing, That is a Good thing"
