Olympics Tennis 2012: Wimbledon Finalist Agnieszka Radwanska Upset in Round 1
Women's tennis star Agnieszka Radwanska, who lost to Serena Williams in the 2012 Wimbledon Final, was upset in the first round of the Olympics tennis competition by Julia Goerges of Germany in three sets on Sunday.
"Goerges pulls off quite a win, beating Radwanska 7-5, 6-7(5), 6-4 under the roof. Andy Murray v Stanislas Wawrinka up next. #olympictennis

Radwanska's struggles at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club continued with a disappointing performance against an opponent she should have beaten.
As the No. 2-ranked player in women's tennis, the 23-year-old was expected to be a top contender for the gold medal in the singles competition.
The Polish star will now have extra time to focus on the women's doubles competition, which is now her only hope for an Olympic medal. Radwanska will also be a top contender at the US Open when the tournament commences later this month in New York.
Goerges, 23, is ranked No. 24 in the world and is one of the young stars of women's tennis. Her serve was a key part of her victory on Sunday, evidenced by the 20 aces she had against Radwanska.
With her first career Olympic match out of the way, Goerges will be able to relax more in the next round and continue her run toward a medal. She will certainly be one of the women's tennis players to watch for the rest of the Olympics.
On a historical note, Sunday's match between Radwanska and Goerges was the first Olympic tennis match to be played under a roof in 100 years.
