Backcourt Advantage: Missouri

Missouri ranks fifth in the nation in scoring at 82.8 points per game. Furthermore, the Tigers are top 10 in the country in both points per possession (1.13, ranked 10th) and points allowed per possession (0.89, ranked sixth).

Their efficient offense is paced by junior guards J.T. Tiller (7.6 PPG, 3.5 APG, 2.0 SPG) and Zaire Taylor (5.6 PPG, 3.5 APG), who should have no problem scoring against a last-place Colorado team.

Frontcourt Advantage: Missouri

DeMarre Carroll (17.3 PPG) and Leo Lyons (14.3 PPG) will be scoring often in this one against Cory Higgins (17.6 PPG) and the Buffaloes.

Lyons was suspended for the Tigers' first game against the Buffaloes, a 107-62 blowout in Columbia, MO. Carroll led the Tigers with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the game. Missouri shot a season-best 63 percent from the floor while forcing 26 Colorado turnovers.

Momentum: Missouri

Missouri comes into Boulder winners of five straight, including two on the road.

Colorado has dropped their last six.

Look for Colorado to keep this game close in the first half, but Missouri should blow this game open in the second half. They have been somewhat of a second-half team this season and Colorado won't be able to do anything to stop that.

The Buffaloes just need to hope they have a good first half or this game will be another blowout like their game last month.
