Ronda Rousey Takes Time from Controversy to Spar with Carmen Electra

Gabe ZaldivarJun 7, 2018

MMA fighter Ronda Rousey is enjoying a steady and constant rise in her fame, the latest stop includes some pictures of her sparring with celeb Carmen Electra.

At least no one was hurt.

The Daily Mail reports (via Big Lead Sports) that Carmen Electra went at it recently, but in a friendly bout of sparring, giving one lucky photographer a great chance at prized photos.

It seems Electra was getting a workout from the Strikeforce champion, an exercise that apparently demanded a great deal of makeup.

As for Rousey, she is inching towards household-name status, showing she is a beautiful athlete that is world class in both her sport and in the fine art of letting her feelings be known.

She featured in the 2012 Body Issue of ESPN the Magazine, and was then asked about Kim Kardashian on the red carpet for the ESPYS.

That's where she destroyed the reality-TV queen and the nation that considers her worthy enough of all their attention. She scoffed that some girls would consider Kardashian a role model.

She wasn't done.

Rousey also lambasted Michael Phelps for how he conducted himself at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, choosing to sit by himself and generally staying away from the other athletes.

It rubbed this MMA fighter the wrong way, and she sounded off in this video

Now we have this glorious photo shoot. Like I mentioned before, at least nobody was hurt. She may have thrown some punches, but for once the verbal jabs were left out of the mix.

Follow me on Twitter because I said so.
