As PWInsider.com reported yesterday (click link at your own risk due to malware concerns), WWE Diva Maxine has decided to leave the company.

Ultimately, Maxine was bothered by not having a guaranteed contract or regular TV time other than NXT. Now, word is coming from WWE seamstress Terry Anderson's Twitter, confirming the news:

Yes yes yes ...so happy a certain person will no longer be with WWE

No worries no 1 ull miss RT @VickyHardyCena: @redheadedstitch may we know who? :o

— Terry Anderson (@redheadedstitch) June 27, 2012

@DerekOlson23 :) yep

The last tweet was in response to a fan directly asking if she was referring to Maxine.

In the end, I am not surprised that Maxine is definitely gone, just surprised that an employee would be so vocal about it.

Many times, employees are told to keep quiet to avoid stories like these coming out. Ultimately, Maxine and Anderson must not have eye-to-eye on something, leading to the seamstress's joyful tweets.

Any way you slice it, this was a bold—yet smart—move by Maxine. As she knows the climate of the Diva's division first hand, she may have seen the writing on the wall. Let's face it, the WWE barely has room on TV for the divas they utilize, let alone for those waiting in the wings.

So, Maxine has taken a chance and will test the waters to see where her career winds up. In the end, I applaud her for not just sitting around waiting for the WWE to make a move as many stars do. Instead, she has taken her fate into her own hands, and for better or worse, she will ultimately have some say as to what her future holds.

Even though she was not on the main-roster, she still worked for the WWE in some facet, and no one can take that away from her. So even if she never goes back there, she will always know she was able to get to the biggest wrestling company in the world.
