Wideout Wagering: The Odds on Terrell Owens and Anquan Boldin

If I was a General Manager I would not touch any of these big name, big money wide outs with a ten foot pole. Terrell Owens is aging, a cancer on every team he's cursed, and half mad.

Anquan Boldin spent the year bitching and complaining, but whats worse with Boldin is that he plays on a team with a superior wide out, Larry Fitzgerald, and a Pro Bowl QB, Kurt Warner, and has never proved he can be The GUY. Except, of course, in his own mind he is always the "Guy."

The same theory holds true for TJ Houshmandzadeh. TJ is in his thirties and players don't gain athletic ability in that decade. Sure he has been on a poor team but he is the second best wide-out on the Cincinnati Bengals, behind the egoistical, under achieving Chad Johnson, and plays with a serviceable QB in Carson Palmer.

Pass paying the big bucks to a player who is a team's second threat. Saved your salary cap and stock up on some offensive lineman.

And who, besides Al Davis, needs a team wrecking, egotistical, attention starved lunatic on the down side of his career? Pass on Terrell Owens  and Chad Johnson. 

But if ye be a sporting man here is the odds on the landing spot of the disgruntled Red Bird and the demented team wrecking Dallas Cowboy.

Jerry Jones runs a circus not a football team so he might sign all four and start a reality TV show with Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson co starring In Oh Those Crazy Cowboys!
