Backcourt Advantage: Texas

Senior guard A.J. Abrams (16.7 PPG) put up 20 points for just the second time in conference play this season in Tuesday's 99-74 beatdown of Oklahoma State. It was exactly the kind of game the Longhorns have been expecting from Abrams in his senior season, and they're hoping it was a sign of things to come.

The Longhorns, a preseason favorite to win the Big 12, currently sit fifth in the conference and need to build up some momentum heading into March.

Frontcourt Advantage: Texas

Senior forward Connor Atchley (5.7 PPG) matched his season high when he scored 14 points in the Longhorns' win on Tuesday. It was his highest scoring output since their first game of the season, when he scored 14 against Stetson on Nov. 14. Coach Rick Barnes is hopeful that his seniors have finally woken up from their season-long slumber and are ready to lead his team on a successful postseason run.

Momentum: Texas

Before their win on Tuesday, Texas had dropped three straight, while Colorado is on a four-game losing streak. If the Longhorns have finally turned the page on their season, this game could get ugly, but I don't think that's the case. Look for the Longhorns to win, but the Buffaloes will hang close.
