Football Transfers: Mario Mandzukic Will Move to Bayern Munich
Heading into the summer transfer window, Bayern Munich was looking to acquire a strong striker capable of providing another scoring threat next to goal-machine Mario Gomez.
After much speculation and rumours, Bayern Munich has brought in Croatian attacker Mario Mandzukic, according to the player's agent (via Goal.com).
While neither Bayern or Mandzukic's current team, fellow Bundesliga competitor VfL Wolfsburg, have announced an official move, it has been reported that the deal is for four years and worth €13 million.

Mandzukic was one of the surprise players of Euro 2012, creating an oozing amount of success with his Croatian national team in the tournament.
While his country couldn't make it out of their group with powerhouses Spain and Italy getting the best of them, the 26-year-old used the tournament as a coming-out party, scoring three goals on four shots on target.
Last year in Bundesliga play, the physical footballer scored 12 goals in 32 games and distributed eight assists.
He is the sixth player Bayern has brought in via transfer thus far this summer and it wouldn't be surprising if they continued to bolster their club.
