Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley: The Much More Possible Fight

2009 will be a banner year for boxing specially in the southern divisions beginning welterweight down to flyweight class.

As we have already witnessed how Sugar Shane turned back the hands of time by outclassing the supposed to be impregnable chin of Tony 'the plaster casted hands' Margarito.

And of course The wily and willy Vic 'the loudmouth' Darchinyan won his match aided by ring rope cut on Jorge 'the raging bull' Arce.

I can't help but wait the other scheduled fights in the coming weeks and months.

The done deal have already been in the air for the past days and I can't help but wonder why the fight between that man from Manchester and the mutation of a boxer ala X-Men which many of the medical buff called as an anomally (or is it abnormally?) is like the only fight in town.

Of the three of course the the number one will be the blockbuster of a fight. Number two will be desirable but the most possible will be number three. The reason is both fighters are aggreable to fight and are active while Floyd Jr. is non-committal.

The Pacman vs. Sugar Shane tiff off will not be as blockbuster as it would be to break any PPV record but the Sweet Science of boxing will be greatly enhanced by the quality of this fight in terms technique, speed, power, and of course drama inside the ring.

Both are perfect ring gladiator and has the tenacity of a fox that will surely wake us all come fight night. Whoever the winner will be enshrined to boxing immortality and this will add up to the match spicy flavor and surely the heat will result in a slam bang affair comparable to a megaton of action.

But let us not forget, a hank of a man is not aggreable to all this because his main purpose is to own the title of best pound for pound boxer this year and his name is Ricky 'the hitman' Hatton.

And he will be very happy to spoil the fun.
