England vs. Italy: Azzuri Will Be Destroyed by Germans in Semifinal
Italy must enjoy this victory now, because they don't possess the firepower to upend Germany.
Italy's stifling defense is the reason they are just one game away from the Euro 2012 final, but against an attack as potent as Germany's, they cannot hope to register another low-scoring win.
Azzuri defeated England with penalty-kicks today, as the teams played to a scoreless draw in regulation. They out-lasted England 4-2 in the PK session.

Italy hasn't allowed a goal in two matches, and they haven't allowed more than one goal in any Euro 2012 match.
They have suffocated the attacks of every team they've faced, but Germany is no ordinary team. Bayern Munich star Mario Gomez is tied with Cristiano Ronaldo for the most goals in the tournament with three.
But Gomez isn't Germany's only threat. Manager, Joachim Low, showed his team's depth in their quarterfinal match against Greece.
Low tinkered with his side, and the Germans still produced a 4-2 rout of the Greeks. Gomez didn't even score in that match.
Italy is a better team than Greece, but no team is going to completely shut Germany down. To beat them, you must have a complete game, and Italy does not. Their attack is largely conservative, and they simply don't have enough play-makers to apply significant pressure to Germany.
Juventus star Andrea Pirlo and AC Milan standout Antonio Cassano lead Azzuri's attack. They have each scored one goal in Euro 2012. They are the Italians' best play-makers and scoring threats, but not on the level a player required to solve Germany.
I predict a 2-0 win for Germany. The Germans won't face a team strong enough to defeat them until the final.
Portugal or Spain are the only teams with a chance to derail them. But, even then, Germany will be the strong favorites, and rightfully so. This team is really good.
