US Olympic Trials Track TV Schedule: When and Where to Watch Thrilling Action
As the 2012 United States Olympic trials for track and field continue on Sunday, the excitement over some of the bigger events scheduled for Day 3 is through the roof.
Not only do the fans get the semifinals of the men’s 100-meter dash, track enthusiasts are lucky enough to get both the men’s and women’s 400-meter race and the men’s 100 meters.
Add in the fun of the field games going on Sunday—like the men’s shot put and long jump, or the women’s pole vault and discus throw—and there is something for everyone.
With a trip to London to represent the United States in the 2012 Summer Olympics, this is the kind of action that will have even the most jaded track and field fan giving it a chance and falling in love.
It’s almost time for the Olympics, America; let’s support our athletes!

Events to Watch
Women’s Discus Throw
In what should be a fun event for all sports fans in general—not just track and field enthusiasts—the women will get their chance at the discus throw. With a long history dating back to the ancient Olympics, watching these women toss is too fun to miss.
Men’s Long Jump
With this being the final for this portion of the competition, Sunday is make-or-break time for the men trying to make the field team via the long jump. With a field of the best athletes in the United Stated, I wouldn’t be shocked to see a world record here.
Women’s Pole Vault
In one of my personal favorites because there is no fathomable way in the world I could or would ever do this, the talented women get their chance to pole vault their way into American Olympic lore.
We wish all of our athletes the best of luck at the trials and at the actual games.
