World Soccer Masters Tour 2012: Start Time, TV Schedule, Rosters & More
The World Soccer Masters Tour is set to bring some of the best footballers in the world to Sun Life Stadium in Opa-Locka, FL Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
While this exhibition takes a backseat to the 2012 European Championships on the world football stage, it is a chance for Americans to get a glimpse at some of the game's biggest names. And that includes the biggest name of all, with Barcelona's Lionel Messi scheduled to play.
That's right, Mr. Messi will be flashing his sublime skills in star-studded event. It is the first time that Messi has taken his talents to the South Beach area.
Barcelona played at Sun Life Stadium last summer, but Messi did not make the trip.
Messi will be joined on the pitch by the likes of Liverpool's Luis Suarez, Inter Milan's Diego Forlan, Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Athletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao. Americans Clint Dempsey, Carlos Bocanegra and Jozy Altidore will provide a local rooting interest for fans.
Feel free to check out all the stars ready to take the pitch for this event.
Fabio Capello will be managing the Masters, and Dunga will helm the Stars. And with players like this, this should be an easy task for the two supremely competent managers. Just take a look at their rosters as according to Soccerbyives.net.
*Fox Soccer will be broadcasting this event live
