Germany is clicking on all cylinders right now, and the pre-tournament favorites are proving that they deserved that label.
They have yet to drop a game at Euro 2012 and this most recent match displayed the full compliment of their dominance. Head man Joachim Low tinkered with his side, injecting new players into unfamiliar situations and the results were magical.
Germany dominated without their leading scorer, Mario Gomez tallying a goal.
England is my pick to defeat Italy, they have been the most impressive of the two teams. Italy is lucky to be in this position as they have only one win in the tournament.
They have made it this far on the strength of two draws. England will hand them their first loss, but they simply don't have the overall talent to defeat Germany. Even after getting Wayne Rooney back from suspension, England lacks the firepower to defeat Germany.
The Germans have scored more goals than any other team in Euro 2012 with nine, and their 33 shots on target prove how relentless their attack is. They are the only team in the tournament without a loss or a draw.
England would have to play the match of its life to defeat Germany, and that simply won't happen. Spain may be the only team with a chance to derail Germany's Euro 2012 hopes, and as every match goes by, I began to doubt that even the Spaniards can stop Germany.
