One and Done: Pacman Jones Released By Dallas Cowboys
When Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones traded for troubled corner back Adam "Pacman" Jones back in April, many analysts whether he would be able to return to his old, dominant form on defense.
After one season in Dallas, it's obvious Jones is not the same dominant player he was when he was with the Tennessee Titans. On the first day teams were allowed to make waiver requests, the Cowboys decided to part ways with Jones after a disappointing 2008 season.
In only his second season in the league, Jones seemed on his way to a promising career after 2006. On defense, recorded 12 deflected passes and four interceptions, with one of them being returned for a touchdown.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Not only could he get the job done on defense but he was a key factor on special teams as well after he tied for the lead league with three punts returned for a touchdown.
In his only season with Dallas, Jones had no impact on the Cowboy's defense. In nine games, he only managed 31 tackles and failed to record a sack, interception, or fumble. His struggles continued on special teams as he failed to find the end zone as a returner and only averaged 4.5 yards each return.
Originally, the Tennessee Titans were supposed to receive a sixth-round draft pick in 2009 in addition to the fourth-round pick they used in last year's draft from Dallas.
Because of Pacman's earlier suspension this season from the incident with his bodyguard, the Titans must now surrender their fifth-round pick to the Cowboys in the upcoming draft.
Jones is another example of great talent gone to waste in professional sports. We have seen too many athletes miss out on great opportunities because of their stupidity. His off the field incidents with the law have led him to nothing but suspensions and millions of dollars lost.
He clearly is not the same dominant player we saw back in 2006 and has a lot of work ahead of him if he ever wants to return to his old NFL form.
