EPL Transfer: Newcastle Have Made €5 Million Offer for Mathieu Debuchy
According to RMC Sport, Newcastle United have submitted a €5 million offer for Lille right-back Mathieu Debuchy.
Debuchy is currently at the European Championships in Poland/Ukraine, where he has been one of France's best players through their first two games in the group stage. He has also been a frequent link to Tyneside in recent weeks.
Debuchy stands to collect a bonus should his transfer fee be under €8 million. Inter Milan are also reported to be interested in sealing his signature, having contacted Lille in order to collect information about their man.

With his departure from the club looking increasingly likely, Lille have lined up several potential replacements for Debuchy, with Sébastien Corchia of Sochaux the name cited most frequently.
Lille are scheduled to play in the Champions League playoffs this August, and will be looking for cover at right-back, which Franck Beria can occupy if need be.
The northern French club will be looking to maintain a strong side as they prepare to begin playing at the gleaming new Grande Stade Lille Metropole, scheduled to be finished later this year.
Sky Sports have also reported that Newcastle have sent an £8 million offer for 21-year-old striker Luuk de Jong of FC Twente. De Jong is one of the brightest attacking talents in world football, having scored 39 goals in 76 games for Steve McLaren's side.
