Antonio Margarito Found Guilty: If The Glove Fits, You Must Now Quit!

Today the California State Athletic Commission voted unanimously that Antonio Margarito was guilty on the charges of his illegal handwraps in his last fight Jan. 24, 2009.

Both Margarito and his trainer were found guilty and were suspended for a year and fined. 

Margarito claimed he had no clue on what was going on with his hand wraps and all he did was hold his hands up to be wrapped by his team.

This sounds just as innocent as when Eddie Murphy picked up a transvestite prostitute on Santa Monica Blvd. and said, "I thought all I was doing was giving her a ride, officer."

Usually I am all for the saying: innocent until proven guilty, but come on, folks, never trust a douchebag in a mullet. In all seriousness, just look in the eyes of Margarito right before the opening bell of the Sugar Shane fight and the truth was already evident.

Margarito looked worried and already mentally beaten. He knew he cannot win without his plaster of paris cheat pads in his gloves.

You don't believe me, watch the fight and see for yourself. That look in Margarito eyes already told me he was guilty. I did not have to wait until Feb. 10 for the official ruling.

So many people have expressed that he does not deserve to rematch Miguel Cotto because of this ruling. I disagree Miguel Cotto deserves a rematch more now than ever for his ONLY loss is because of this cheating bastard disgrace. 

Cotto deserves to beat Margarito's cheating ass down and redeem his one and only loss. Either that or Cotto's loss must be officially changed to a NO CONTEST ruling.

Ideally, I say Cotto should get the NC ruling as well as a rematch and I guarantee Cotto will win hands down.  

Again as I stated in my previous Margarito article, Margarito is no Chavez and this proves even further evidence.

Chavez was a honorable, hardworking warrior who deserved all the status and recognition that he achieved by the old school honest hard working way, not by cheating and decieving and letting down his people.

Just like the clever late great Johnny Cochran said when defending O.J. Simpson, "If the glove don't fit, you must acquit."  I say to Margarito: "If the glove fits, you must now quit!"
