US Open Golf TV Schedule 2012: Complete NBC Listings for Final Rounds
The final rounds of the 2012 U.S. Open are sure to produce a brilliant finish to what has been a brutal tournament. NBC has exclusive rights to cover the final two rounds, and they will be on air for six hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Here is a quick lowdown on the vital details of this weekend's action,
Where: Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif.
When: Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17
TV Schedule
| Round | Date | Time (ET) | Channel |
| Round 3 | June 16 | 4-10 p.m. | NBC |
| Round 4 | June 17 | 4-10 p.m. | NBC |
Tiger Woods is tied for the lead heading into the weekend, and he's joined at one-under par by David Toms and his Saturday playing partner in the final group, Jim Furyk. Toms will be paired with John Peterson, who is tied for fourth place at one-over par.
Masters Champion Bubba Watson and last year's U.S. Open champ Rory McIlroy both missed the cut, along with other notables Luke Donald, Casey Martin, Dustin Johnson and Vijay Singh.
The Olympic Club has been a hard taskmaster for the best golfers in the world, and out of the 156 golfers who entered the tournament with hopes of winning on Thursday, only three have managed to score in red figures through the first two days.
The winner will likely finish on Sunday with a score over par, as this course will continue to dry out and the greens will continue to get firmer and faster.
If you are a fan of low-scoring, birdie-making fiestas, then this weekend's action probably isn't for you.
But if you're like me and appreciate players who shine in the toughest circumstances, then the grueling test that is sure to come is right up your alley.
Stay tuned for the final two rounds. They won't fail to entertain, of that I'm certain.
