Randy Orton Should Turn Face

As you all know, Randy Orton has been receiving more and more cheers as each week passes by. I think it is due to the bad-ass character that he is portraying. His punts have been described as being "heard around the world" and his RKO's leave his opponents lifeless on the mat. Though what has me believing that he will turn face by the end of the year, in fact before Summerslam?

I think the voice of the young male fans will roar once again like it did when Austin and the Rock laced their boots. I think that with the amount of cheers he receives each week shows  that us fans are nearly crying out to be able to chant RKO, RKO, RKO!

I see Orton gradually punting people in the head like JBL, Chris Jericho and Mike Know. Those kind of heels who will piss off Orton only for him to either RKO them or punt them. However, he will still punt the Cenas and Michaels of this world if they get in his way. A tweener if you like.

You will start to see Orton team with faces eventually as well, even if he is facing one of them in a match. So for example you might see Orton, Cena and Hardy vs Edge JBL and Jericho.

I think the possible assault by his love children (Dibiase and Rhodes) could also turn him face if done in a certain way. Remember back in 2004 when Evolution turned on him? You could see him getting the sympathy vote from men, women and the young kids who seem to be the only people left booing him now as it is! Think about how Randy could get huge pops from kicking the crap out of his former proteges?

How about the possible historic face-heel switch between Cena and Orton. After winning the title at Wrestlemania (which I think he will), have Cena come out to mock the crowd, and do whatever it takes to piss them off(including the kids). Have Orton come out speak his mind about Cena, tell it like it is, beat the crap out of Cena, and bring back that pose he is missing at the moment. Now that would be great!

Now why would you turn Orton face? Well first of all he obviously is popular as a heel. Secondly, his merchandise would go through the roof with kids buying his gear. Thirdly, it would allow some fresh matches such as a Triple H and Orton reunion or a Orton and Batista reunion. It would allow Orton to face people like JBL, Edge and others he may not of gotten to face before.
