WWE No Way out 2012: Cody Rhodes Sends Christian a Message Via Twitter

Cody Rhodes has been absent from TV all week due to promotional touring for the WWE.

Sadly, this allowed for zero buildup this week as he heads into a match against Christian at No Way Out.

So what's a man to do when he can't attack his opponent the week of a pay-per-view? Why, post a twitvid about what he will be doing to his opponent come Sunday.

The tweet was as simple as the video, yet it still makes a statement. In the video (seen here), Cody has meticulously laid out a box of Peeps and then runs them over with his car. The Peeps candy is clearly representing Christian's fans, aka "peeps."

However, to me, the last one in the box represents Christian, as I think this is Cody saying he will run over anyone to get to Christian and the IC title.

Now, I may be wrong, as Cody doesn't talk during the video, which means he is leaving his message up to the viewer to interpret. Considering that he was not able to add fire to the feud this week, this was a great way of using social media to get his message across.

Ultimately, if the WWE does this right, this feud could easily last throughout the summer and culminate at SummerSlam.

Not only would it provide fans with a solid feud, it could also bring some prestige back to the IC title. Let's face it: The WWE has been anything but kind to its midcard belts. And, with the main event scene crumbling before our eyes, the WWE could stand to have a solid midcard feud to help build Cody Rhodes' career.
