Who Should Be Arsenal's Striker in Adebayor's Absence?
Last week in Arsenal's draw vs. Tottenham, Emanuel Adebayor was stretchered off the field with a hamstring injury in the 33rd minute. So the question many Arsenal fans are asking is, who will be starting striker with Van Persie? Arsenal have many choices like Niklas Bendtner, Eduardo Da Silva, Carlos Vela, and Andrei Arshavin.
Niklas Bendtner has proven himself to be quite an amazing substitute putting in good performances for the side coming on late in the game and many times scoring goals but as a starter does he have what it takes? The games he has started this year have been far from quality.

His chances have not come often though and confidence may be an issue as a starter so if he were to start who knows how he could impact the side.
Eduardo Da Silva hasn't started a game for the side in close to a year but his finishing skills are possibly the best on the team and he has been missed by Arsenal Fans. One thing Arsenal haven't had much luck with is finishing and he could really bring this quality to the team.
The downside is him not playing in such competition in almost a year, it could take him time to adjust again to the speed and physicality of the game.
Carlos Vela, the 19-year-old Mexican hasn't been given many chances to prove himself as far as League play has gone, but in the Carling Cup he put in some impressive performances that he could bring to Arsenal if he were starting. He is fast and also has clinical finishing, but doesn't have much experience in the first team.
New signing Andrei Arshavin could fill in very nicely for the injured Adebayor as he is speedy, creative and just a fantastic player. He is very influential on the pitch no matter what position he is player and where Wenger is planning to play him we do not know but his debut will not come for a couple weeks because he cannot play against Cardiff in the FA Cup
Who should start?
