Russell Westbrook Post Game Shirts: Rating His Latest Nerd-Chic Looks

Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook owns the podium with every last geek shirt he owns. Here is a breakdown of his recent best. 

Russell Westbrook never met a ball he wanted to pass, and he certainly never met a shirt he wasn't willing to buy and then wear in a postgame press conference. 

Here is the grace and grandeur of a millionaire wanting nothing more than to cause a "WTF" with every last shirt he wears. 

I love it. 

I can't get enough of the Robin to Kevin Durant's Batman owning the entire NBA when it comes to start trends. Sure, those trends may become popular in a few decades, but there is nothing wrong with being ahead of your time. 

Here are some of the best recent work from Westbrook's closet. 

5. Purple-Polka Nightmare

The Thunder just beat the Spurs in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, and Westbrook decided to go with the most muted thing he has in his wardrobe. 

I can't hate because I know I has something similar I rocked in the early 90's. BTW, friends don't let friends wear purple polka dots.

4. Nerd Photo Shoot

Kevin Durant got into the action after a game with the Spurs, just long enough to give us a base line for what a normal person might wear. 

Sure, his shirt is nerdy, but it pales compared to the amazing technicolored dream shirt worn by Westbrook. The more I look at it, the more I like though.

3. Hobo Chic

Westbrook saw this thing on a rack and thought this particular shirt would not only look good on a human, it would look on himself. 

Sure, he could have made this look by tearing up a few shirts at home and then stitching them together, but there is a problem. 

All his other shirts have teddy bears and airplanes on them.

2. Sally Jesse Urkel

After their Game 1 win, I am sure the Thunder experienced some measured celebration. Well, there is nothing measured about this get up. 

Westbrook brings back the wonderful Sally Jessy Raphael glasses and pairs them like a fine wine with his nerdy Steve Urkel shirt. 

I have the same prints on a onesie I have from when I was a toddler.

1. Tacky Bowler

Russell Westbrook does his best to look like an old bowling buddy. All he needs is some bowling shoes and a PBR in his hand. 

I have to say, I love this one. 

It makes me laugh every single time I see it from the sheer ridiculousness of it all. The man is wearing teddy bears like other men wear tuxedos. 

You want swag. Wear that thing with a straight face.
