Amazing Spider-Man Clip: Watch Spidey Shatter a Backboard
My Spidey sense is tingling, and it doesn't feel too good.
Yahoo Movies has a movie clip from the upcoming blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man. It makes sense that we have another Spider-Man movie, seeing as how it's been a whopping 5 years since Spider-Man 3.
Here is a link to the clip that shows Peter Parker having an run in with Flash Thompson. This time around, the encounter takes place on the basketball court, and ends with a backboard-destroying dunk even Shaq would be proud of.

Inside Top NFL Prospect Getting Drafted
I am a sucker for comic book movies so I will have my butt firmly planted in a theater seat July 3rd when the film comes out, but I have my reservations.
This is not the first time we have seen Flash on screen, a similar character was featured in Sam Raimi's initial go with the arachnid superhero in 2002's Spider-Man.
So it may be a reboot in a slightly different universe, but the beats are the same and are hard to separate from the series I rather enjoyed from Raimi.
I could be wrong, but this clip has me worried that the new Spider-Man is going to be far too self aware of him being a badass, causing fits of me shaking my head in the theater.
I like the fumbling and bumbling Peter Parker that cloaks his ability behind a shroud of immense dork. I don't need a superhero that is too cool for his own good, because we have plenty of that in other franchises.
Nit-picking?
You bet your basketballs I am. If you are nice enough to have a superhero movie, we better be awesome enough to have an incessant debate on the finer points.
I say the series was good as is, but would love to hear from you all that get to see two Flash battles back-to-back, and have an alternate opinion.
