Thiago Silva to PSG?

The big rumor swirling around the Internet during Monday's Euro 2012 action concerned Paris Saint-Germain's reported interest in AC Milan defender Thiago Silva.

Goal.com reports that PSG are prepared to pay an initial €42 million fee for Silva, rising to €50 million based on incentives.

Silva, 27, joined Milan from Fluminense in 2009. He has earned 27 caps for Brazil.

Modric Too?

PSG's big spending might not be limited to Thiago Silva.

According to the Daily Mirror, the French club is ready to offer Tottenham Hotspur £30 million for Croatian playmaker Luka Modric.

Modric, 26, has long been a target of Manchester United. The Mirror reports that United failed with a £22 million bid for Modric.

Lewandowski Link Denied

A senior Borussia Dortmund official has refuted reports linking Polish forward Robert Lewandowski with Manchester United.

ESPNSoccernet quotes Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke: "I have said for weeks that Robert will be back in training with us after Euro 2012 and his holiday leave, and this is what will happen."

Just before the tournament, Lewandowski had been linked with Manchester United by Poland manager Franciszek Smuda (per Sky Sports).

Benzema Staying?

France's Karim Benzema is another Euro 2012 star linked with a summer move, but Benzema's agent is denying the rumors.

Goal.com quotes Karim Djaziri, purportedly Benzema's agent, as saying: "Benzema is not leaving Real Madrid."

Manchester City and Manchester United are thought to be interested.

Giroud 'Close' to Arsenal Move

France and Montpellier forward Olivier Giroud, on the other hand, is reportedly close to a move across the English Channel.

Montpellier manager Rene Girard reportedly told French radio station RMC (cited by ESPNSoccernet) that Giroud is "close" to joining Arsenal.

Giroud, 25, helped Montpellier win the Ligue 1 title with 25 league goals this past season.

Permanent Deal for Arshavin?

In other Arsenal news, Russian forward Andrey Arshavin is reportedly close to rejoining Zenit St. Petersburg permanently (per Metro).

Arshavin, 31, joined Arsenal from Zenit in 2009 and returned to St. Petersburg on loan this past winter. According to Metro, the clubs have opened "informal talks" over a permanent deal.

Ambitious Fellaini

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has admitted a move to an "ambitious club" would interest him (per The Guardian).

Fellaini, 24, is reportedly being chased by Chelsea and Real Madrid (via Daily Mail).

In a Belgian radio interview, Fellaini reportedly said: "I am ambitious; I want to play in the Champions League or in the Europa League. Last season we finished seventh with Everton, and we were not able to qualify for Europe, which was a shame."
