The Los Angeles Kings finally have their crown.
After 44 years of waiting, the Kings won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, defeating the New Jersey Devils, 6-1, on Monday.
It was a fitting victory for the Kings, who dominated the majority of the 2012 playoffs. They finished with a stellar playoff record of 16-4 and lost just one road game during the entire postseason.
