Argentina vs. Brazil: What Argentina's Win Means for Talented Squad
Argentina proved to be the better team in their friendly match with Brazil and it couldn't be a better sign for the Lionel Messi-led club.
Messi led the charge for Argentina with three goals in the 4-3 victory over Brazil. He was joined in the scoring celebration by his teammate, Federico Fernandez. Both had huge second-half goals that erased a 3-2 deficit and propelled Argentina to victory.
It wasn't an easy match for Argentina in any way, shape or form. After staking claim to a 2-1 lead and seemingly in control, Argentina would allow two straight goals to start the second half, but climbed back into the lead and never relinquished it.

Messi Can Carry This Club
As if we needed another reminder of such a fact.
Argentina has a talented club. There's is little to argue about there. But throw on top of that the fact that they have one of the greatest players in the world, and you have quite a force on the soccer field.
In the friendly with Brazil, Messi proved his worth with three huge goals that ultimately put his squad over the top. Just when you thought Argentina wouldn't show up offensively, Messi came to save the day.
It's a pretty comforting feeling to have a guy like Messi on your club. Argentina has an advantage over every team in the world simply because of their star player.
Argentina Is a Top Team
Brazil is no slouch and are annually one of the best teams in the world. Beating Brazil is always a great measuring stick for any team, regardless of who's better.
Argentina's win proves they are a top team and are capable of hanging with some of the best in the world, even when that opposing team gives their best performance out on the field.
Argentina has the ability to take it to another level as proven in their friendly with Brazil. That will certainly make them a club to beat moving forward, no matter who they face.
Argentina Can Overcome Adversity
The Argentinian squad didn't get their victory over the Brazilians easily.
It's not to say they were taking their foot off the pedal in any way, but Argentina did have a nice lead that would not only become tied, but taken away from them as well. That can be a very discouraging event for any club, but not for Argentina.
Instead, Argentina fought back and didn't give in to the momentum shift. They continued to fight on both sides of the ball and would bide their time until the next offensive opportunity presented itself.
Argentina was able to overcome their late deficit and rallied to victory behind their best player. Clearly this club has heart and can succeed in the most adverse situations.
