Alex KayJun 7, 2018

The Boston Celtics are returning home to host the Miami Heat in what could be a deciding Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The C’s know this is likely their last chance to make a Finals run together while the Heat are under immense pressure facing elimination. It will take Miami a lot more than a good effort to emerge victorious tonight as Boston looks to close out the series.

Read on to find out where you can catch this game, which players you should keep an eye on and more.

Most Important Player to Watch: Kevin Garnett

KG has been an absolute beast in this series. Aside from his impressive statistical outputs—averages of 21.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 assists against the Heat—Garnett has helped keep his teammates focused and locked in even when things looked bad.

Chris Bosh is expected to play a much larger in role in Game 6—compared to the paltry 14 minutes he logged in his return from injury —and should make Garnett’s job tougher on the defensive end.

It’s going to be fun to watch these two All-Star big men battle for dominance in the paint.

Most Intriguing Matchup: Rajon Rondo vs. Heat defense

Rondo has been the catalyst for the Celtics in both the regular season and the playoffs. He’s putting up 20.6 points, 11 assists, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals for the series.

No one has been able to slow him down. Even when the Heat assigned their best defenders, namely Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, to guard the young point guard, Rondo has found a way to break loose.

If Miami is going to win tonight, they will need to do a better job locking down the dynamic point guard and cutting off passing lanes.
