JR On Whether or Not the WWE Will Have a Diva Make Playboy in 2009

Every year, it seems, we see a WWE diva in Playboy right before Wrestlemania. It is something many male wrestling fans look forward to. And, also, many divas look for it because it actually helps forward their careers.

There are only two Playboy cover girls that were released by the WWE. Torrie Wilson and Ashley. Wilson was released because of her back and problems she suffered with it. Ashley was released because of many issues.

But Divas who were in it were pushed very well and they have been the No. 1 Diva in the WWE. But it seems as if the WWE will not have one. JR recently wrote in his blog this statement:

"All of the sudden there is all this talk about whether or not the WWE will have a Diva in Playboy prior to Wrestlemania. First of all, I do not know. I do seriously doubt it, however. I am more interested in the WM25 card than I am about who may be 'tastefully nude' in Playboy Magazine."

I see what he means; however, many fans look forward to it. Not many women do, but more wrestling fans have been known to be men despite the many female fans.

Anyway, there has been rumors of girls, also seeing a former diva who has been in Playboy before has been mentioned. Candice Michelle has been mentioned again, as well as Maryse, who has been in it before.

And the big one has been Kelly Kelly. The WWE wanted to put her in it before anyone else. They have been pushing her for a little while slowly. But if she were to do Playboy, her career would go up fast.

However, she declined to do it initially. She was asked about it again, then said she is not sure. The PG rating on TV would not play a factor if the WWE wanted to do it. Only the cover would be an issue.

They like to debut the cover on TV when the issue comes out. But if JR is right, and he usually is, then we will see the streak of WWE divas in Playboy end in 2009.
