Pacquiao vs. Bradley Odds: Why You Should Bet on a Knockout

The odds don't favor a knockout in the upcoming fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, but that's exactly why you should bet on one. 

According to sportsbook.ag, the odds of the fight finishing in under 11 rounds are just +170. Essentially, if you want to make some money in a way that doesn't involve betting on the fight straight up, you should bet on a knockout.

And here's a look at why that's the perfect way to go.

Pacquiao's Power

Timothy Bradley—who has never lost—has obviously never been knocked out. In fact, he's only been knocked down twice. He has an incredibly strong chin, but Desert Storm has never seen someone with the power that Pac-Man has.

People talk about how Pacquiao's hands looked a little slower, and thus weaker, in his last fight against Juan Manuel Marquez, but you can't overlook him.

Even though Pac-Man hasn't knocked out an opponent since Miguel Cotto in 2009, he still has the power that can put down Bradley if he catches him in the right spot.

Desert Storm is fired up, and he's going to come out with aggression. Even though he's a solid defender and counterpuncher, that could leave him open for Pacquiao to take advantage.

Pacquiao may have the fastest hands in the business, but Bradley is quick on his feet and isn't afraid to get in close and turn this into an ugly fight.

While Bradley has a good chance of landing a devastating counterpunch, he actually possesses a sneaky right hook.

It's dangerous, and if he surprises Pacquiao with it, he'll floor the pound-for-pound champ. 

Neither of these boxers scream "knockout punchers," but when they come out with an urgency, they'll open themselves up for someone to strike.
