Day 1 of the 2012 MLB draft is in the books and it was quite an exciting one. Now, it’s time to focus on the second day, in which Rounds 2 through 15 will be taking place.
There is going to be a lot of talent being selected and the minor leagues will soon be restocked with excellent young prospects.

What to Watch For
Look for a number of solid, but underrated kids to come off the board in these rounds. Players like Ty Buttrey, Alex Wood and Adam Brett Walker are still available after getting skipped over in the first and compensatory first round.
Franchises that take them will be hoping that they come in with a chip on their shoulder and are ready to prove those who skipped out on them wrong.
