6 Green Bay Packers Experts to Follow on Twitter
Twitter has revolutionized the way people get their information about sports, especially the NFL. In fact, you could almost say that Twitter was made just for the NFL.
As one of the most popular franchises in the league, the Green Bay Packers get plenty of coverage in the world of Twitter, and if you want to know all the inside information in Green Bay, there are certain people to follow.
The following list gives the six Packers experts that you must follow on Twitter.
Andrew Garda, Bleacher Report
1 of 6Twitter Handle: @Andrew_Garda
Even though Andrew Garda covers the entire NFL North for Bleacher Report, his ties run deep to the Green Bay Packers.
Garda has written for CheeseheadTV.com and has a great knowledge of the Packers. He has an in-depth understanding of their offensive and defensive schemes and is always ready and willing to talk about Green Bay.
While many of Garda's tweets deal with teams other than the Packers, you can definitely tell that they're one of his favorite to discuss on Twitter.
Rob Demovsky, Green Bay Press-Gazzette
2 of 6Twitter Handle: @RobDemovsky
Since Rob Demovsky is the closest of all the experts to the Green Bay Packers, he is generally the first one to tweet relevant information regarding the team.
If it's the offseason, expect Demovsky to keep you up-to-date on signings and offseason practices and programs. If the regular season is taking place, he'll keep you updated on scores, injuries and anything else happening during the game that you need to know about.
What is really enjoyable about following Demovsky on Twitter is the interaction he has with other Packers fans. You can tell he truly loves his job and the team and is willing to talk to anyone about it.
Tyler Dunne, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
3 of 6Twitter Handle: @TyDunne
Over this past weekend, Donald Driver held a charity softball tournament where the majority of the experts gathered to watch and report. During that tournament, Driver tossed one of his cleats towards a young boy in the stands.
Unfortunately, some middle-aged woman decided to rip the cleats from the boys hand and run away with the shoe. Deadspin has wonderful insight into the story here, but ultimately, Driver wanted to know the boy's name so he could get him another shoe.
Well, you know who found that boy's name? Yep, none other than Tyler Dunne. If hunting down a random child isn't dedication to the Green Bay Packers, then I don't know what is.
Jersey Al, AllGreenBayPackers.com
4 of 6Twitter Handle: @JersyAlGBP
Of all the experts on this list, Jersey Al might be the best known. In fact, all that is really known about him is that he's from New Jersey, he started one of the top independent blogs about the Green Bay Packers, and he literally eats, drinks and sleeps Packers green and gold.
While Al isn't usually as outgoing as the other experts on Twitter, if you follow him, you'll get links to his articles from his website, which are always excellent. You'll also be able to see his interaction with the other Packers' experts, who all know him and follow him.
Jason Wilde, ESPN Milwaukee
5 of 6Twitter Handle: @jasonjwilde
Jason Wilde is probably the most well-known expert on Twitter for the Green Bay Packers, which is probably due to his employment with ESPN.
He always has the inside information, and as far as actual writing, he is one of the best NFL columnists out there. His great overall knowledge of the game is usually spilled out on his Twitter account for the common man to get.
Despite being the most famous of the Packers' experts, he may also be the most humble. He'll often let you know the happenings of his family and personal life, making him all the more interesting to follow.
Aaron Nagler, Bleacher Report and CheeseheadTV
6 of 6Twitter Handle: @Aaron_Nagler
Before coming over to Bleacher Report to become a lead writer about the NFL, Aaron Nagler was a co-founder of CheeseheadTV, the biggest independent blog about the Green Bay Packers.
While his work here allows him to write about every team in the league, whenever he gets the opportunity to write about the Packers, it is always some of his best stuff. On Twitter, he displays his great sense of humor when giving and hearing information regarding Green Bay.
If you were only going to follow one of the following experts, Nagler would be my suggestion.
