Adrienne Maloof: Kings Send Real Housewife of Beverly Hills to NBA Lottery

Gabe ZaldivarJun 3, 2018

The Sacramento Kings have a lucky charm for tonight's NBA draft lottery, and it comes in the form of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof.

I know what you are thinking: "No way! A real, live housewife from Beverly Hills! How could the Kings possibly lose?"

The Sacramento Bee reported back in April that the only female sibling of the Maloof brothers would be the representative at Wednesday's lottery. Tonight, we will find out just how lucky the sultry Maloof can be.

Of course, there are those who find it a tad ridiculous that a reality-TV star will be on the presentation tonight.

NBC Sports' Aaron Bruski had this to say via Twitter:

"

We're at T-minus 5 hours until somebody has to introduce Adrienne Maloof at the draft lottery with a straight face.

I say let NBA draft lottery be as ridiculous as it can be. It really should only take five minutes to present where these awful teams are going to pick anyway. The rest of the time is spent trying to fill the broadcast with facts we don't care about and thoughts from rich owners we don't like.

While Adrienne Maloof showing up is rather silly, we might as well get you acquainted with the lady you will be wondering about tonight.

The 50-year-old Maloof is the third child and only daughter of George J. Maloof, Sr. She is currently working as a part of the reality show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that speaks volumes about your soul and mental makeup if you watch it.

Adrienne actually attended the University of New Mexico on a full tennis scholarship, and she currently helps take care of several family holdings (including the Kings) in addition to running her own shoe design company.

So she is an accomplished professional, but is also featured on reality TV. Interesting.

Maybe she is the answer to the Kings' woes and just the spark they need to bring a lottery win back to Sacramento. But I doubt it.
