Viral Video of the Day: England Striker Andy Carroll Fails at Yes-No Game

The life of the modern footballer is full of pressure, from the media to the fans to the actual matches themselves.

And, in the case of Andy Carroll, the Yes-No Game.

Not familiar with the Yes-No Game? The rules are easy: A participant is asked questions for a certain amount of time, and he or she is not allowed to say "yes" or "no" during that time.

Saying either word means the game is over—which, in the case of Andy Carroll, means the game never really gets started.

Watch the video above and you'll see: Carroll just can't handle all these tricky questions from Liverpool FC's clever reporter.

The video is part of the campaign for Liverpool's new kit, and it's absolutely brilliant. As proof, here's an approximation of the interviewer's questions:

So, Andy, what car did you drive today?

Oh really? What color is it?

Oh, it's black, eh?

Now, in this situation, most people would just smile and get on with the game. Carroll, however, just isn't most people.

Admittedly, this is a tough game, as schoolchildren everywhere will tell you. Hey, even Jose Enrique struggled for a few seconds before getting the hang of it, and English isn't even his first language.

Regardless, this video shows that it's a surprisingly good idea to play the Yes-No Game with footballers. With so much going on in their brains, footballers just can't seem to stop saying yes and no.
